MX DRY-TYPE KITCHEN EXTRACTION CANOPIES The following canopies can be either wall-mounted or island-mounted arrangements: MX Box-type with or without supply air MS Slope-type with or without supply air The units are manufactured in either 304 stainless stell, 1.2mm thick or in galvanised sheet metal. Each canopy is upplied with EMEX grease filters and stainless steel grease drawers. The canopies can be fitted with VP-LF900/1200/1500 double tube light fittings and VP-FD range of fire dampers as optional.

MX WATER WASH KITCHEN EXTRACTION CANOPIES These canopies can be manufactured to the same specifications/arrangements as the dry-type canopies. The units are manufactured in 304 stainless stell, 1.2mm thick. Each canopy is supplied with EMEX grease filters as secondary mist eliminators, which enables the system to function as a dry-type canopy in care of water interruption. This also prevents water and grease emulsion to be carried over into the extract duct work, therefore not seam welded ducting is required. The canopies can be fitted with VP-LF900/1200/1500 double tube light fittings and VP-FD range of fire dampers as option.

MX-HB DISPLAY CANOPIES These canopies are mounted as island-type arrangements, located in buffet or serving areas. The units are mnaufactured in 304 stainless steel, 1.2mm thick. Each canopy is supplied with EMEX grease filters and stainless steel grease drawers. They are also fitted standard with 12V DC downlighters. VP-FD range of fire dampers can be supplied as an optional extra.

MX CONDENSATE CANOPIES These canopies are wall-mounted over kitchen appliances. The units are manufactured in 304 stainless steel, 1.2mm thick. No grease filters are fitted into these units, only an internal baffle plate, which collects condensatin in a open channel around the perimeter of the canopy.

DISHWASER EXTRACTION UNITS Customized stainless steel duct work is fitted over commercial dishwashers. These units are ducted to the outside of the building and fitted with an extraction fan.

VP-FS FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS The use of water based fire suppression liquids with this system means that a fire is extinguished quickly and safely and that the kitchen can be back into operation soon after the fire has been extinguished. These liquids do not form messy residues on the cooking surfaces. All the sensors and nozzles are flush mounted with the canopy roof which makes cleaning easy. No open pipe ends in which dirt and grease bulid ups occur. The sensors are spaced along the canop at 500mm intervals with a discharge nozzle. All wires and piping is hidden away on top of the canopy.

CONTROL PANELS A variety of control panels are manufactured to accomodate all types of installations. These control panels are fabricated from 1.2mm stainless steel or 1.6mm mild steel powder coated to specifications. All latest PLC technologies are utilised in controlling all different tupes of applications.

EMEX GREASE FILTERS The EMEX filter was designed specificaly for use in kitchen ventilation-extraction systems. They are installed into kitchen ventilation hoods for use as a grease vapour and condensation filter in normal dry-type hoods. In addition the filter is also utilised as a high efficiency mist eliminator for water was type hoods. The filters are manufactured standard with two chrome plated handles for easy removal and handling, and are patented worldwide.

VP-LF LIGHT FITTINGS There are three models available: VP-LF900 (2 x 18watt tubes) VP-LF1200 (2 x 36 watt tubes) VP-LF1500 (2 x 58 watt tubes) The lights are manufactured in stainless stell fitted with a 4mm armoured plated glass diffuser sealed to the diffuser frame by a cellular neoprene gasket. An electronic ballast is fitted in each unit with standard 220v electrical supply. All units are pre-wired and complete with 1500mm length of electrical cable.

VP-FD FIRE DAMPERS The fire dampers are manufactured in stainless steel fitted with stainless steel torsion springs. The unit is activated by means of fusible ink, resetable from below the canopy. Standard sizes are 250mm wide x any lengths up to 1200mm.

FLOOR DRAINS A variety of floor drains are manufactured in 304 stainless steel. Each unit is supplied with an internal waste basket, water trap and floor grid.
